No gobble NO glory!

The famous turkey cupcakes!!

Don't know if you can tell or not, but Jaycee got her bottom braces just this week...and she has thanksgiving colors on her brackets...brown and burgandy...they really make wearing braces fun these days! She is so faithful in brushing and flossing...I'm glad!! her teeth are moving already, this whole thing is amazing to me!!

So today was Tanner's last soccer game of the season....SO in preparation for the Turkey shoot next week (2 final...final days of soccer) it was our turn to bring the snack....so...we made turkey cupcakes...in honor of the turkey shoot next week!!

Just a little note to self though...DO NOT attempt to make these an hour before the game...they do take a little bit longer than that to create!!

I was trying to put on the feathers for about 30 minutes....they weren't working...not even close to working!! (they are fruit roll-ups...very sticky and not cooperating!) They were drooping, and just looked terrible!! THEN...Jaycee walks into the kitchen and says..."I know, try this!" And we did, and they worked....she is SO creative...and having patience helps too, as I was getting a little frustrated with the darn things!!

We got them almost done, and I said....Jace, these don't look right?! She said..."Mom, they need a gobble....under their eyes....NO GOBBLE...NO GLORY!!!" I laughed so hard...so the poor things needed gobbles, and then they were complete....Jaycee saved the day, and we made it on time to the game!!! Hooray!!

Hahaha Cute!! I love these little things! Somehow this makes me crave chocolate cake/chocolate frosting. We WILL have this when I'm home right?!
Love you!
Way to go Jace on saving the day!
