We survived!!

We had 4 halloween parties this last week....and it's over! We did have alot of fun though! It started off with the school carnival on Wednesday, our ward halloween carnival on Friday. Which by the way was OVER the top!!! So well prepared, and tons for the kids to do!! Popcorn machine, cotton Candy, sno-cones, great prizes for playing games...the works! The best Ward party I've ever been too! Tanner won a badge for the Most Original Costume...he was pretty happy about that!

Saturday, we had a full day, with a soccer game first, then the Hoedown that we go to every year! Our kids would be devastated if we ever missed this one! They have the clowns Glitterbug and Beep Beep come and do face make-up, tiwsty COOL balloons, and they always have a silly show for the kids as well! They make the party!

This year, they gave raffle tickets if you brought canned food for a charity....and you got a ticket just for coming. They also had a costume contest...one for adults, and one for the kids. Since the party was on Nov 1st, there weren't alot of people who dressed up...but enough for a contest!

Tanner ended up winning $20.00 for the best costume for the kids, and Kevin and I won $100.00 for the best adult costume!!! Shocker....thats alot to give away!!!

Then Mike handed Kevin the raffle bucket and asked him to draw a ticket out for the raffle,....and well............ he drew MINE!!!! Another $100.00 for the raffle!!! WOW.....we made out at this party!!! So kind!!!

Afterwards, we had a get together with friends in Tacoma..., When Tanner got in the car, he said...is there any other parties that we can go to and earn some more money?! Too funny! We had a great time with Rob and Jerda and friends! Glenna brought a cool activity for all of us to do...and it was SOOOOO cool!! Tossed a bag back and forth with various ingredients, and Wall-ahh...homemade ice-cream when we were finished!! Great idea for birthday partys I'd have to say!!
It will be nice to relax this next week..that's alot of activity along with the everyday things we have to do as well! And it will be nice to have something different to eat other that hot dogs and chilli....which is what they served at the 3 out of 4 partys this week!! Not complaining though!!

Today was church (Tanner bore his testimony for the first time today!) He was so cute...he rehearsed what he was going to say while sitting on the bench, then I asked him if he wanted me to go up with him and he said.."no, I'll be fine"! Guess he's growing up!

I'm going to paint our bedroom this next week...finally add some color to that room after 10 years of living in this house....Bout time!!! Then concentrate on Christmas cards and gift giving!! It's that time of year!
