I went with Jaycee's 6th grade class for their end of the year celebration, to our local "Tacoma Rainiers" baseball game, and what a beautiful day to go! I love it when they ask me to chaperone...this way, I am able to take all the pictures I want!! They had initially planned to go to a Mariners game, but their kid day was while the 6th graders were at camp....but actually, I liked the closeness of the Rainiers, and always wonder why we don't come more often! We had to leave early though, because the school bus was waiting for us, but when we left the score was
6-2 in the 7th inning, with the Rainiers leading!! But I guess we were their good luck charms, because after we left, they scored 3 runs in the 8th and 9th innings!!! Unbelievable!! So they lost 6-8...dang! And it was going so good!!! We had a great time anyway!

Jaycee was happy that she made a colorful sign at school, because the camera man loved it and had her on the reader board about 4 times...(course it did help that our whole section was shouting and screaming extremely loud!!

This is Rhubarb the Rainier Moose high fiving one of Jaycee's classmates!

This is Jaycee with Doug the pitcher, getting his autograph.
I decided to roll my shorts up so that I wouldn't have a line...well...not such a good idea when we forgot sunscreen and sitting in the DIRECT sun for 2 and a half hours before the shade reached us! My knees and just above got fried, and my right arm...dang it!! I hate sunburns...I better not peel! Jaycee just tanned...she was smart to wear a hat and NOT roll up her shorts!!

And this is Rhubarb the moose again STREAKING~ to the song..."The Streak"
