Tanner's 8th birthday!

Does he look older to you?! He does to me!! Tommorrow night he gets to go to his 1st cub-scout night!! He couldn't wait to be 8!! He's even missing a baseball game! So off to the bookstore to get him a scout shirt, book, scarf and all!! I can't believe I have a cub-scout again!! It's been 16 years...I've had all girls stuff...here we are though, back again!! Kevin is an Eagle Scout, so pretty sure Tanner will feel this enthusiasim from Kev....hooray!!

So when we asked Tan what he wanted for his birthday, he said...I don't want a party or anything, all I want is to go quading at the dunes with my family...oh...and one more thing, " A bucket of Superman Ice-Cream!"

And this is a muddy faced kid...VERY happy to have his ice-cream!! We put candles in it!

Kevin made a jump for Tan at our campsite, just for the heck of it inbetween rides on the sand dunes...he was diggin it!! And gettin some air too!! He totally keeps up with us...he really is a good rider! He loves his new Blaster 200...clutch and all!! So then he figured out if he can ride his, he should try my 350, because it has a clutch also...SO that he did....then he comes back from a ride with Kev and says..."Mom...I found the MUD!!" Were in trouble...he can ride them all now!
Nice job on my quad ~findin the mud Tan...he and Dad had a quad washing party tonight...I got to wash all the clothes....amazingly enough, they always seem to come clean!
And this was his request for his 2nd grade class...he wanted to take Lemon Poppy Seed muffins to school...not cupcakes!! He also had me bring in his hermit crabs to show the class...they were a hit as well. He's got a great teacher!

The kid knew exactly what he wanted this year!! He says "MY 8th birthday ROCKS!!"
